Northernaire Resort

We came in winter for snowmobiling, and getting onto the trails from the lake was really convenient. The pool and hot tub are big and lovely, and the shared spaces look beautiful, like nice spots to gather with friends or other guests. We couldn't figure out how to switch on the two gas fireplaces, though. It also looks like a fun place to visit in summer. Our experience with the rental management company Vacasa hasn't been great. But when I left something behind and contacted the resort directly, their customer service was amazing.

The only letdown was that the pool and hot tub were out of service. Otherwise, we had a very positive weekend. Our three bedroom unit was lovely, with lots of windows facing pleasant views. The place is right on the water, so summer boating would be great. It was very quiet during our recent off season visit, apart from maybe us.

The resort handled all the guests at a large wedding comfortably, and it was a great spot for spending time with friends and family between events. The rooms were very nice, with a gorgeous view over the lake. It's a beautiful location, and we'll absolutely return.

The maple wood villa was beautiful, clean, spacious, and really comfortable. It sits a little off to the side, so there's plenty of privacy, and the walk to the pier where we rented a pontoon boat wasn't bad. Can't wait to come back.
