The location made things easy, with parking, shops, and restaurants nearby, and the staff were funny, friendly, helpful, and always ready to take care of anything we needed. Our family had a wonderful stay at Waters Edge. We booked two rooms, one for the three young adults and another for the parents, and both were perfect. The in-suite fireplaces were especially nice in December, and we loved the fresh cookies, nightly wine and cheese, and personalized breakfast in bed, all included. There’s a drink station on each floor, and the beds were so comfortable that I’m planning to order the pillows for home. From the deck, the bay and boats dressed up for the holidays looked beautiful. We sat by the fire pits remembering our travels in SF. We’ve stayed all over the world, and this is one of our favorite places. I’d book again in a heartbeat.

The hotel staff really made the stay feel personal. They were warm, articulate, and knew the area well, often sharing helpful neighborhood tips and suggestions for activities, scenic spots, and iconic places to visit. The waterfront setting in Tiburon is peaceful, with sweeping views of the San Francisco skyline that sparkle by day and look lovely at night. From the surrounding decks, you can watch the yachts in the harbor, and the nearby yacht club adds to the maritime feel. Tiburon is easy to explore on foot or by car, with shops, artisan cafés, and well regarded restaurants along its lined streets. The town is about 30 minutes from San Francisco International Airport, so it’s convenient while still offering a calm retreat from the Bay Area bustle. A charming place to slow down and enjoy the coast.

Tiburon’s shops, restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance, and the hotel is right by the ferry terminal for trips to Angel Island or San Francisco. It’s a lovely boutique place on the waterfront, with great views of the marina and the distant San Francisco skyline. Breakfast can be delivered to your room at the time you choose, and you can eat at your table or take it out to the deck. Each evening from 5 to 7, there’s complimentary wine and a choice of cheese. The hosts are great, and it feels like a home away from home.

All 15 of us want to come back after our cozy, sweet family holiday at Water's Edge. The staff were stellar, you can walk to everything you might need, and that view is incredible. Enjoy!

The deck over the bay was such a lovely place to unwind, and the view was glorious. Everything about our week at Water's Edge felt perfect: the hotel was comfortable and well appointed, and every staff member we met was kind, generous, and responsive. The little touches made each day special, from the complimentary breakfast with a different delicious pastry each day to evening wine and late-night cookies. What a dream of a week. 💖🌅
