The pool and hot tub were a real plus, and the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. We didn't try the free breakfast, so can't comment on that. Burleighs is only about a five-minute drive away, and the motel is roughly five minutes from central Ticonderoga.

The room was clean and the staff were genuinely helpful, but I slept terribly. The mattress felt like plywood, and the small, lumpy pillows gave no support. The hot tub was barely warm, which was another letdown. Wi-Fi was very slow, and cell service around the area is limited.

We ended up going to McDonald's for breakfast. At 8:15, there was almost nothing left: four slices of bread, a few home fries, and some hard sausages. We had to ask for plates and napkins, and get hot water from the front desk area. When we asked about eggs, they said that was all they had. Dinner was okay, and the room was also okay, though worn, with lumpy beds. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The restaurant's food was really good, and the staff were all great. Our room was nice, and the pool looked good, though we didn't use it. For $200 a night, this would've been a five-star stay. At $400, it was a three for me. It was a last-minute trip and we were willing to pay, but the price still felt like getting raked over the coals. I paid less for a better room in downtown Chicago last month.

We booked most of the rooms for our wedding weekend, and Kaitlyn and her staff were incredibly helpful. Kaitlyn was professional and accommodating the whole time, and the breakfast and bar staff were great too. I'd recommend the place for a wedding in the area.
