The housekeeper I spoke with was kind, respectful, and quick to help. She came to the room, got down on her hands and knees, and thoroughly cleaned the bathroom. I appreciated her effort, and the staff were amazing from check-in through check-out. My concern is with the room and its inspection overall. After a long drive, I used the restroom and saw two pubic hairs near the toilet. I took photos, then found other cleanliness issues in the bathroom and room that made me uneasy. Even after the cleaning, the room still felt dingy and outdated, below what I expect from a Fairfield Inn by Marriott. The towels looked wrinkled and poorly presented, and I couldn't relax there. In the morning, I found almost no shower gel left in the dispenser, though I'd already used it the previous evening. That was one issue too many with the cleaning and room preparation. I usually prefer to leave positive reviews, since people often post only when upset, and I try to find something good to say. This stay really disappointed me. I hope management takes the concerns seriously and improves the housekeeping inspection process.

The location was good, but the rooms felt dated and the bathroom wasn't clean. The pool was out of order, and the laundry room needed cleaning and updated machines.

I booked the wrong city by mistake and called within five minutes to ask for a refund. The associate on the phone said they'd process it and that accidents happen. When I called the next morning, the GM told me it was nonrefundable, blamed me for choosing the wrong hotel, and said it wasn't their responsibility. Poor customer service.

The bathroom was filthy, with dirty floors, urine around the toilet base, and something splattered on the wall. There was also what looked like black growth above the window. We found floss on the made bed and an empty wine bottle on the floor. The room smelled of men's cologne at first, though the smell cleared quickly. The bed was okay, but when the heat kicked on it made such a loud, obnoxious noise that we had to turn it off to sleep. The lobby was inviting, and the location just off the expressway was convenient. I wouldn't stay here again.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the shower was great. A couple of small things could've been better: the washcloth had stains, and the mirror hadn't been wiped.
