Hilton Garden Inn Tifton

The breakfast crew went out of their way to be kind and pleasant, and staff on the other days were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, and our room was comfortable. Ethan was a displeasure to check in with, though I'm not taking stars away from the hotel for his personality, or lack of it. There are snacks, drinks, and beer for sale in the lobby, with a self-checkout that lets you pay by card or charge to your room. Handy if you need something late or forgot an item. It was nice that Hilton properties are dog-friendly too, since we brought our two little dogs. We'd return, and you can't go wrong with Hilton properties. The hotel is conveniently located in Tifton, Georgia, with a Cracker Barrel right next door.

We spent a lot of money, but after complaining about the cleaning, they moved us to a smaller room without offering any refund for the downgrade or even an apology. It was a little cleaner, but not by much. I emailed and called management and got no response. The front desk woman said she'd waive the $75 pet fee for the inconvenience, but never did. It felt like lie after lie. The lobby looked impressive, but the place felt more like a Motel 6 than the upscale hotel it claims to be. The rooms were awful: a strong cat litter and urine smell, hairballs, stains, brown smears in the toilet, and trash that hadn't been emptied. Cleanliness clearly isn't taken seriously. Our dog was cleaner than either of the rooms they put us in. I wouldn't stay here.

Dakota deserves a special mention for the kind of smiling service I haven't seen in a long time. Every team member we met went out of their way to make us comfortable and accommodate the needs of our agency's annual Leadership Retreat. The food was delicious, too. We held the retreat at the Tifton Hilton Garden Inn on Thursday and Friday. From arrival, the staff made us feel welcome with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. Thank you all for making the experience memorable. I highly recommend the hotel for comfort and personal, professional care.

The room was clean, the food was great, and the staff were friendly. It's a wonderful location, close to food and gas, with plenty of outdoor space to walk a pet. I'll happily stay here again. Thank you!
