Travelodge Tilton/Lake Winnisquan

I’m here for work in the area, and the staff have been really friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and the showers are clean. There’s little to no unnecessary outside noise. I’ll definitely make this my place to stay whenever I’m in the area.

I’m from Maine and booked a room here. The staff member who checked me in was really pleasant, and the room was very clean. I’d recommend this place if you’re in the area.

We found a room here at the last minute on a weekend and loved our stay. It’s advertised as a two-star hotel, and it looks lovely online for that rating. You can tell the family who owns it is working hard to bring it up to date. Our key cards worked, the staff were fine, the room was clean, the AC worked, and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t have time to try the beach access across the street, but it looked great. There was breakfast and coffee, and even the owners’ kids were pleasant and cute. Some complaints just seem unfair to me. It’s next to a road, so road noise isn’t surprising. And the negative reviews about rude office staff don’t match our experience. Honestly, I think those reviews are from people who are extremely privileged and entitled. Thanks so much, we’ll come back!

ESA pets are allowed, and the staff are super nice. The view is unbelievable. Seeing the sun come over the mountains in the morning is beyond compare. My husband and I moved here from Texas. He’s from NH and had tried to tell me how beautiful the state is, but it’s something you have to experience to really understand. 10/10, highly recommend this adorable inn.
