Spark by Hilton Lexington

The staff were very friendly, especially "Grandma," and the hotel had plenty of DoorDash choices nearby. I'd recommend Macados, Salerno Wood fired grill, and Off The Skewer. I was here on a work trip and chose it specifically because they have designated truck parking. Breakfast was included, with no hot items, but the parfait yogurt bar was a nice change. Some rooms are better than others while they work through the transition to a Spark by Hilton Hotel.

After a long day of driving, I needed a quiet place to relax, and this Spark by Hilton was just right for a quick overnight. The room was simple but spotless, with two comfortable queen beds and soft sheets, not the stiff, scratchy kind. The bathroom was clean and well kept. Breakfast was basic but satisfying: a yogurt machine with toppings, bagels, muffins, hard-boiled eggs, juice, and coffee. There's a pool, but it was still under construction, so we couldn't try it. A clean, quiet, comfortable stop for the night.

The hotel isn't fancy, but it was clean and quiet, and the room was fine. The tub was clean, and there were no bugs on the mattress. For the price, it was a reasonable stay. Breakfast was seriously disappointing. There were four dry cereals in a dispenser, some muffins and a few bagels, and a strange yogurt setup. The hard-boiled eggs were already gone an hour and a half before breakfast was supposed to end. It looked like someone had grabbed an armful of wrapped snacks from a Seven Eleven aisle. We didn't expect bacon and eggs, but this felt like vending machine food, so we drove down the road to Cracker Barrel.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in my 82 years, and this was the nicest hotel experience I've had. I loved everything about it. Neel and Jennifer were so helpful, and the cotton towels were a lovely touch. The shower was great, and the woman working at night was helpful when I needed WiFi support. Thanks, Spark, for a great stay!
