Hilton Garden Inn Chicago/Tinley Park

I was able to bring my dog and stay in an accessible room after losing power yesterday, and the staff made me feel very welcome. Rui has been a huge help. Last night, Samuel and the other lovely woman at the front desk treated me like gold, and a very friendly staff member even brought the food I ordered from the grill right to my room. The pool is why I can’t give five stars. It’s been broken for three years? Come on, that’s far too long.

We had a very upsetting stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago/Tinley Park. The bathroom floor was sticky, the toilet in the lobby ladies’ room wouldn’t flush, and there was black-looking mold around the shower and the edges of the ceiling. The shower also had cobwebs, peeling caulk, and a stained, chipped floor. Wallpaper was bubbling and coming loose in places. Our suite had very little closet space. We were charged for parking two cars because we had two suites, even though we all arrived in one car. It was also hard to find anyone available to help. The whole place felt dirty and musty. I was so disappointed in Hilton.

On our third visit, we got our best room yet, a corner room, 332, that wasn’t the usual rectangle. The bed was very comfortable, and the oddly angled all-tile shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was a letdown apart from the oatmeal. I’d been told before we arrived that the pool was out of service, though I didn’t check for myself.

Natalia and Hugh really made the stay for me. They were attentive, professional, and ready to help, and their care made me feel welcome. The whole team seems to take pride in looking after guests. The Hilton Garden Inn in Tinley Park, IL, was clean and well maintained. My room was quiet and organized, and it was easy to relax there after a long day. The hospitality stood out from the moment I arrived. I’d recommend this location to anyone traveling through the Tinley Park area, and I look forward to returning.
