Woodspring Suites Tolleson - Phoenix West

The kitchenette and full-size fridge kept my three-week stay affordable and helped me use my time well. The room was extremely clean, and there was a desk and laundry too. Tamika and the rest of the staff were outstanding and very kind. The cost was affordable, and I’d suggest staying here for business or an extended visit.

Check-in was great, and the lady at the desk was polite and professional. The room seemed clean and comfortable, but I had mixed feelings about the place. There’s no ice machine. When I asked, she said people would take advantage of it and “break the bank.” I’ve never stayed at a motel without one before. They don’t offer breakfast, though Starbucks is next door, and I was told DoorDash was the best option for food. As I’m writing this, I can smell someone smoking pot, and it’s horrible.

I had extended my stay by two weeks, and they charged the card on file. I never signed anything or got a receipt, and the payment has been pending on my bank statement for more than a week. The funds are being held, and my bank says it needs authorization from the hotel to release them. The hotel says there’s no record in their system. They locked me out of my room, so I paid another $715.26 to get to my room and belongings. Two days later they locked me out again and demanded another $715.26. I refused and had to leave. I’m still owed a refund for 5 days. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.

Checking in with Lanisha at reception was a nice experience. The rooms are modern and have cooking facilities. I’ve seen some reviews complain about the bed mattress, but I loved it. It was super comfortable, and the A/C is powerful and quiet.
