Tomales is such a peaceful, charming town, and Point Reyes and Bodega Bay are close by. The place itself has a great mix of elegance and warmth, with a fantastic art collection, a comfortable bed, a tuned piano, and new appliances. The host is quick to respond, too. I’ve stayed three times now, and enjoy it more each visit.
The renovations have made the place even nicer. I stayed earlier this year, and Bert was still working on them. I’ve been coming back to Not A Bank over the past eight years, and Bert always takes care of what guests need. It’s a real hidden gem in Marin County.
We had a great visit. Not a Bank is such a fun, eclectic place, full of interesting art and artifacts, and Burt is the best.
We stayed here for our mini moon four years ago, and we’re hoping to come back soon.
So funky and fun, and such a fabulous idea. All the quirky details are a big plus!
