MC Pacific Inn & Suites

We couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. The blinds wouldn’t close properly, and a bright light outside on the balcony shone into the room all night. From around 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., a large group partied first in the parking lot and then on the fifth floor, yelling, swearing, playing loud music, slamming doors, and drinking heavily. My husband stayed up all night for our safety. We called the front desk, but nobody addressed it. We had our 8-year-old daughter with us, sleeping on the couch, but there was no extra bedding for the sofa bed. Luckily we’d brought our own blanket and pillow. The room itself was fairly clean, and the bathroom was in good condition. We appreciated the decent-sized fridge, TV, and microwave, but the noise, lack of response, and poor window covering made the night miserable. We would have slept better in the car. I wish I could include a recording of that hectic night. At 217 a night, it was definitely not worth it, and I’m very disappointed.

The full-size fridge and decent room size were nice, and the pool was okay, but that’s about where the positives end. The website pictures are VERY deceiving. The rooms were dirty, and the floor was disgusting. After just a few hours, the bottoms of my feet were completely black. I stayed a week and the room was never cleaned. Nobody asked if I needed clean towels, toilet paper, tissues, or trash taken out. The inside of the tub and sink were both chipping away. It’s cheap for a reason, you get what you pay for.

I like the location and the general layout I saw ONLINE, so I gave it 3. But I couldn’t find a phone number to ask questions, and Priceline showed 68000 for a week, obviously a decimal error. I wanted to book through Priceline as I always do without issues. Priceline escalated the problem too, but nothing changed. Is anybody actually managing this place?

The location is decent, with H-Mart a short walk across the street. Prices are fairly low, but you get what you pay for. We stayed four nights and the room wasn’t cleaned once. The floors were absolutely filthy, so bring slippers. Beds weren’t made, and toilet paper, tissues, and towels weren’t replenished unless we went to the front desk ourselves. Staff were friendly enough, but nothing got done unless we asked. There’s a pool, though I skipped it because the cleanliness elsewhere was questionable.
