Room 341 was in bad shape, and the cleaning and upkeep need a lot of work. I paid for two queen beds but got a king instead. The elevator was dirty, and the room needs a major update. There were also lots of water stains on the third-floor hallway ceilings, though I didn’t even take pictures of those. Housekeeping should report problems better, and maintenance needs to do more to keep the rooms up. I won’t stay here again and can’t recommend it.

The customer service was awful from the moment we came in, and we won’t stay here again. Saki laughed and yelled in my face when I politely asked where the bathroom was. She just said, “the first floor,” with a terrible attitude. I told her I’d never been there before, but she still hesitated to show me where it was. In 15 years of booking hotels, I haven’t been treated this badly. A complete waste of time and money.

Redac is consistently, consistently clean. Thank you! The service reflects what Japanese culture does so well. Japanese hoteliers know how to treat guests, and their cleanliness is better than at most other hotels, especially the typical American-owned ones.

The room was really clean and comfortable, so even with a couple of problems we were tired enough to fall asleep right away. The TV didn’t work, and the room stayed warm because the AC barely put out cold air. I set it to 60 degrees and it was still warm. Still, we slept fine.
