Casitas at Capitol Reef

The dark sky made for beautiful starry nights, and the location is great for Capitol Reef National Park. We stayed in a Tiny Home and liked it better than a hotel room. It was cozy, clean, and organized, with parking right next to it. In the middle of the casita lot there are picnic benches and a fire pit with chairs. You can buy firewood there, but bring a lighter. There's a general store very close by and a few places to eat. It was a wonderful, memorable stay, and I'd recommend Casitas at Capitol Reef if you're visiting Capitol Reef.

The room was clean and spacious, and the kitchenette was handy. The bed was hard enough that I might have slept better on the floor. I also wish the shower head tilted farther down. If possible, bring a pad to put over the mattress. The location is great, and otherwise it's a great place to stay.

Booking online was easy, and they sent a door code right away, so there was no check-in process. The price was among the best I found. The room was very clean, with plenty of towels and a kitchen for making food. They also left complimentary coffee, snacks, popcorn, and hot chocolate. The memory foam bed was an interesting experience. I felt like I sank into it, and when I tried to move, I rolled back into the dip I'd made. Maybe that's just me.

The tiny home was spotless and had everything we needed, and it's only minutes from the Capitol Reef National Park entrance. The staff were great to work with and answered all my questions. The whole stay was wonderful.
