Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tracy by IHG

A nice place for everyday travelers, even if it’s not a five-star hotel. The rooms were clean, check-in and checkout were quick, and the helpful staff handled requests promptly. The beds were comfortable, and the AC or heat responded quickly without making much noise. I’d recommend it.

The constant fan option in the room was much appreciated because the highway noise is very loud. There are good restaurants within a couple of miles, though not much is within walking distance. The hotel is older, with an awkward entrance between two gas stations. My bathroom had black mold and a clogged tub with visible hair. Management was responsive and concerned when I reported it, and credited me points, but it shouldn’t have gotten that gross to begin with. I’ll probably stay elsewhere next time.

The rooms were clean and a nice size, and the service was pleasant. Towels were big and okay, though not very soft.

I’ve stayed here so many times since early 2024 while visiting family that the staff know me, my parents, who have also been guests a few times, and now my sibling after their first stay. As a Traveling Doula NCS serving families worldwide, this is my home away from home when I’m in town. It’s always lovely to check in with Sofia, check out with Oralia, and see the morning team, especially Claudia, at breakfast. Breakfast is consistently well stocked, clean, tidy, and delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfy, and I love the shower pressure and water temperature. You can hear the freeway’s white noise, but I like being close to it and to my family’s house. I travel with and use a white noise machine, so that works for me. I highly recommend staying here!
