The rooms are tidy and clean, the location is convenient with everything you need a short distance away, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. As for the cookies, don't get me started. They go fast for a reason! I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Traverse City.

It was a welcome change from the bright fluorescent lighting and sterile modern look a lot of hotels have now. The soft lights, wood, and updated bathrooms made the place feel more like home and made for a really enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay. My room didn't smell quite right, so I went downstairs to tell the front desk lady. She's a doll.

Our two-level room had two queen beds, and the upstairs loft gave us much more room and privacy than a standard two-queen layout. We all slept really well. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was spacious, quiet, and on a busy stretch of US 31. Staff were friendly, and I appreciate that dogs are allowed, although we didn't bring ours this time. It's a quick drive downtown, not a walk. Very nice hotel, and I'd stay again when we're back in the area.

The loft setup in our two-queen room was a hit, especially having a separate space for the kids. It was spacious and very clean, with plenty of towels already in the room, more than we usually find. Getting to the room from the parking lot was easy, and check-in and checkout were simple. The area felt safe, and the staff were friendly and helpful, really going above and beyond. We also enjoyed the 24-hour pool, though the water was a little chilly, as it often is at hotels. They served fresh cookies in the evening and a full breakfast in the morning: bacon, breakfast nuggets (my first time trying them), pastries, eggs, waffles with toppings, juice, and more. I liked the coffee maker with its different drink choices. Highly recommend if you're staying nearby.
