Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indianapolis Dtn-Conv Ctr Area by IHG

The location worked really well for sporting events. It's right beside Lucas Oil stadium, only a few blocks from where the Pacers play, and downtown is just up the road. I stay at Holiday Inn Express often, and this is the best one I've been to. My king premium room was clean, smelled clean, and was well maintained. The staff were polite, helpful, and seemed to genuinely care. I highly recommend staying here!

I was here for PRI 2025, and the location was convenient for the Convention Center and downtown. From the west exit it was an easy .25 mile walk, and the south entrance is even closer, across from the Lucas Stadium. Parking in the lot cost an additional $25/day. It's a nice facility, with friendly staff, clean spaces, and a continental breakfast with lots of good choices. The bathroom vent fan actually worked well, which is the first time I can remember that at a hotel. East-side rooms are near the main drag, so you hear some traffic, though it wasn't terrible. I'd stay again.

Noise was the biggest problem. We had room 611 facing Missouri Street, where traffic went by all night on what felt like a four-lane speedway. South Street traffic bounced off the oddly angled Lucas Oil Stadium and seemed to funnel into our room, helped along by a brick wall outside the window. The doors throughout the hotel slam shut at all hours, with no soft-close doors. My wife and I got no sleep over our three nights. The water pressure was poor, and the hot water was barely warm enough for a shower. Breakfast had no scrambled eggs for three days in a row. The advertised rate was $85 a night, but we were charged $144 per night plus another $25 per night for parking. There were too many other shortcomings to list. Honestly, this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and we'll never return.

The pool was open late and again early enough to use before checkout, and we were right across the street from lucas oil stadium. The staff were so nice, and the room was much better than we expected for the price. The bed was really comfortable. I wish we'd stayed another night. I'll definitely choose this place again when we come back.
