Sleep Inn & Suites and Conference Center Downtown

Denise and Michael were amazing. The room was huge and very clean, and the updated bathroom was done really well. Breakfast could've been better, but it was alright overall. We'll stay here whenever we're in town.

The staff were very nice, the office chair was good, and the tub, toilet, and sink looked very clean. Most other things in the room seemed broken or dirty. The drawers kept sliding open, one of the bathroom mirrors was affected, and the deadbolt slipped, so I couldn't tell whether it was working. There were roaches in the room, my keys failed multiple times, and housekeeping woke me three hours before checkout. The whole place smelled musty, even upstairs. The bed was rock hard. Room lights were white LED daylight bulbs, like an office under fluorescent lights. The bathroom had only a very loud fan and light combination, and no USB port beside the bed. I can't recommend it.

The room was okay and the bed was really comfortable. Yug was very rude. He said my grandfather was rude and told me that because Grandpa was "supposedly rude," I was lucky he didn't call the police and have us kicked out after we arrived, having driven three hours.

The hotel itself was okay, but the surrounding area wasn't. I was traveling for work and booked blindly, without knowing anything about Indianapolis. People sat in vehicles all day and night, looking suspicious, as if they might be casing the parking lot or dealing drugs. A sign at the front entrance said, "Customer parking - User assumes all risks." I wouldn't bring kids here. The walls are thin, so you hear conversations. Most nights, between 10:00pm and 12:00am, I could hear very loud adult noises. I clearly heard the women arrive and leave a couple of hours later, so I assume they were on the clock. My issues were with the area rather than the hotel itself.
