The room seemed brand new, and the bed was very comfortable. Tonya at the front desk was kind and helpful. I had an excellent stay and will definitely come back.

The rooms were clean, which is the main reason to stay in a hotel, but guests shouldn't be treated this way. A few minutes after 5 am, I came down for breakfast and was told, "Just so you know, you have to eat breakfast here. You can't take it to your room or leave the hotel with your food." I saw them say the same thing to one other guest, then didn't hear them tell anyone else. Being greeted like I was a bum or vagrant felt unprofessional and unsettling as a human being. I suggested giving guests vouchers at check-in, or not offering continental breakfast. They could also call the police when random people come in for breakfast service. I'd stayed here before, when Schneider put me up for a few weeks. That was three years ago, before what I assume was a change in ownership or management. The service then was exceptional. I've heard Schneider employees don't stay there anymore, and I can see why. Don't treat your guests in an inhumane way.

The rooms are clean, the hot water works, and the refrigerators do too. Tanya and Sunny are the reason the service stands out: they always try to make sure I’m comfortable and have what I need. I’ll book here again.

The location is what it is, but anything worthwhile is a long way off. In winter I even had to ask the staff to de-ice the accessible parking spaces. The rooms are average at best: dated, cheap furniture, hard towels, little soap unless you ask, and even then you might not get it until the next day. My tub-to-shower pull stop didn’t work right, the TV volume was barely usable, and the coffee pot was dirty. Breakfast often wasn’t ready at the posted time, and arriving ten minutes early got me grief. They didn’t refill the creamer or sugar, and the vending machines were only half stocked. Guests were complaining openly in the lobby about rates and billing. I stayed a week and paid almost $900, when it’s usually about $500. Service was poor enough that I’ve had better at Motel 6. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The elevator shook and rocked, and sounded rough enough to make me uncomfortable. I checked its last inspection and saw it had expired more than a year earlier, with multiple citations at the time. We booked two rooms in person and paid $50 more per room than the advertised online price. There was hair on the sheets, so the rooms were clearly dirty, and the night worker could barely speak English. Go somewhere else.
