I had a small king room and wouldn’t stay here again. There’s a path around the pool but no chairs or anywhere to sit. Both mornings, the hot water for tea had coffee in it. Far too much money for just a place to sleep.

I stayed for a week at the economy inn across from the hotel, which is owned by Seasons Inn TRAVERSE CITY. Rent was $250 a week. I had $215 and needed to get the other $35 from the bank. On Friday morning, I called the front desk lady because I was working late and couldn’t pay until later that night. After work I ran out of gas, and got back at 2 am after someone helped me with gas. I went to the office and told the man I had $215 and would get the rest from the bank Saturday. When I spoke to the manager Saturday, she accused me of making excuses and told me to get my things and leave. I asked if she could work with me, and she said they had, that they gave me until 8 Friday night and I’d failed. I said she hadn’t specified a time, but she again told me to leave. Other guests were eating breakfast while she raised her voice and treated me disrespectfully. When I asked for the manager, she said she was the manager. I asked to talk to the owner, but she refused. I left, then came back to say I’d tell the owner what happened and report the living conditions. Our room hadn’t been cleaned, there was blood from previous guests on the sheets, and the bathroom floor had severe water damage. I reported this and took before-and-after photos of the room after I cleaned it. The heat and AC unit had mold two inches thick where the heat comes out, and I cleaned that too. The maintenance man fixed the toilet, which tipped when you sat on it. The manager’s hospitality and ethics were unacceptable. You don’t treat customers that way. I understand I had to leave, but the whole situation was wrong.
It was a good price for a quick overnight, and the room was clean and furnished decently. I wasn’t after a lot of amenities for such a short stay. The pool looked fun.
I can’t find a phone number for this place anywhere online.
