The best part for me was the bed. I’ve never slept on a more comfortable one, easily 10/10. My husband and I came to Florida for our 10th anniversary and loved the place. It’s comfortable, with beach access across the parking lot and cute shops and good restaurants nearby. Robert was a fantastic, accommodating host. He explained how everything worked, what was expected of us, and pointed us toward some great local food. This is an authentic little Treasure Island spot near Madeira Beach, with a retro Florida feel, bright old-Florida colors, cool tile floors, efficiency-style rooms, and classic turn-key entry. Our unit had a kitchen with the cookware and dishes we needed to make meals. The wall AC worked so well that we actually turned it up because it felt a bit cold at first. We could rent beach chairs and towels for much less than buying them and having to check them for the trip home. Just know the setup is self-service: there’s no cleaning service, and guests are expected to tidy up, wash their dishes, and use towels thoughtfully. They have a good towel exchange system, and you just follow the instructions when you need fresh ones. If you’re independent and low-maintenance, it’s a great place to stay by the beach. If you need room service or daily maid service, a nearby resort may suit you better. This isn’t a luxury hotel. My one suggestion for the owners is to update the TVs. They’re older, connected to vintage VHS/DVD players and DirecTV, with no on-demand option. Adding Roku or something similar would be nice for streaming. I know guests don’t spend much time inside, but sometimes we older folks need a quiet night after getting our Midwest skin baked on the beach all day 😂.
The patio worked really well for family dinners, and there was plenty of space plus a gas grill. It’s also a very short walk to the beach, and you can rent a chair cheaply. Our rooms were clean, housekeeping was attentive, and the service was excellent. Robert was one of the coolest people I’ve met down here, so kind with our kids and everyone else I saw him speak with. The place made us feel welcome and at home. We’ll definitely keep coming back.
We had a very pleasant three-night stay at the Beach House - Treasure Island, and this stretch of ocean and beach is always a treat for us. The Gulf view is all around, and it took about two minutes to reach the beach from our room by the boardwalk. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen area had everything we needed. Roger, the manager, knows the area well and suggested a few places to eat that turned out to be very good. The price was quite reasonable. Thank you.
Robert was the highlight of our stay. He went out of his way to make sure our family had a good time, and he’s a really solid guy. My wife, our two boys, and I were very happy with the Beach House. The rooms were immaculate and cozy, and the location is great, with Johns Pass just a short walk away and plenty to see and do. There’s no pool, but the beach is only steps away, so that didn’t matter to us. We’re looking forward to staying again.
The staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location worked perfectly for us. We had a fantastic vacation and couldn’t be happier with our hotel choice. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in town.
