Days Inn Trenton

The room was pretty decent, with new sheets and AC and heat that worked well. It came with soap, shampoo, conditioner, and towels. The other tenants were loud outside that evening, even while I was speaking with the manager, and the breakfast selection was limited. Otherwise, it was a good place to rest for the evening.

A good little cheap hotel for a night on the road. The room was clean, though the floor was a bit meh, maybe they should try a different cleaning solution or something. The rooms looked updated, but the shower head could use an update and the hot water didn't seem to get very hot. I skipped breakfast because the selection looked like little bits and pieces, but I wasn't too concerned about it.

The location would've been ideal for my Son's Wedding, but the room smelled stale, moldy, old, like wet rage stink, and all my hopes were dashed when we opened the door. I reported it at the front desk. They offered $25.00 for me to stay in that room, or a suite if I paid the difference. I checked out, and they assured me the refund would be processed without cancellation. I still haven't seen it, and at this point I don't expect to. I'll report it as fraud to AmEx. After four hours of plane travel, we had to find another hotel, though luckily there was a Hilton not too far away.

I stayed one night here a while back, and woke up to find my wallet missing. I wondered who had a key to my room while I was sleeping. The staff. I reported it at the front desk and asked if anyone had gone in while I was asleep. She told me to ask the cleaning lady, so I did. The cleaning lady smirked and said, “go ask the lady at the front.” They just sent me back and forth. I filed a police report. I don't know if they still work there, but I highly recommend staying somewhere else. I'd give zero stars if I could.
