Red Roof Inn Princeton - Ewing

I felt I was treated in a racist way, especially as a light skin service member. As I was leaving, I was rudely made to leave my room and told to come back at 3 pm for my next reservation. When I returned, I found the reservation had been cancelled and my credit card was maxed out. I’m the son of a homeless veteran and was honoring another fallen service member. The treatment was so awful that I felt like I was in the country that person came from, rather than the United States. If you look like him and he likes you, you’ll be fine, but don’t love your country, be a veteran, or be part of a veteran’s family. She still deserves the honor of serving our country. I’ll always be proud of her, and her memory will not be disrespected as long as I’m alive.

The room was filthy, with roaches crawling around and a leaking shower soaking the 1970s carpet through the wall into the bedroom. We found one under the sheets on the first night, and left late the second night for a different property. On the 50 yard walk from the desk to our room, two prostitutes accosted me in view of the desk. At arrival, the clerk was arguing with a guest and the police, then left everyone else waiting in line for about 15 minutes after they went so he could decompress. This was my first and last time at a Red Roof. We needed a pet hotel at the last minute and paid for it. John McCain had better accommodations. Awful hotel, save yourself the money and stress.

I cancelled and left after a frustrating check-in and a disappointing room. The employee insisted there was no reservation under my name without checking the computer. The third-party booking company later confirmed it was in the system, so either the employee didn’t look properly or lied. There were no vending machines, no bottled water, and the gym couldn’t be accessed. The advertised features were misleading. On the previous night, the air conditioning in room 112 didn’t work, it was uncomfortably hot, and I found two roaches in the bathroom. The front desk staff was extremely unprofessional. I would never stay here again and can’t recommend it.

I only gave this place another chance because it was under a different name, but the experience was horrible again. They put a $100 hold on my credit card, maxing it out, and said it could take up to 7 days to process. I don’t understand how the money can be taken immediately but take that long to return. I requested a room inspection today and politely asked at 8 am for the $100 to be put back, but nothing happened. When I called the office about it, they hung up on me. I’ve heard I’m not the only one this has happened to. Expect poor service and a hold on your card for 7 days. I’m telling EVERYONE on social media until my funds come back, so hurry up!!!!!!!¡+
