The place is in a great location and has great bones, though it could use some overall beautification. It looks like it was overgrown at some point and is very dry now. Some watering and grass seed would go a long way. The new manager, Nick, is friendly and accommodating, and he’s doing a great job. I’m sure he’ll have the place looking tip top in no time. It’s not bad as it is, and we’ll definitely be back.

Our site was 78, with a beautiful view of the Columbia River to wake up to every morning. The park has made a complete turnaround for the better with the new manager and staff for the 2025 season. The bathrooms have been updated, the grounds are clean, and the landscaping is being kept up. You can tell they’re working hard to make this place beautiful again. Kudos to Crescent Bar staff for making our trip and stay perfect.

The campground facilities were well maintained, and we really liked the path that connects to the paved trails through a local park. The views of the Columbia River and gorge were stunning. We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

We appreciated the welcome note about the wind picking up at night. We’ve lost an awning before, so bringing them in was useful advice. Two of the three staff members we met were kind, pleasant, and helpful. The scenery around Crescent Bar was lovely, and we enjoyed riding the bike trail behind the campground, with its little beach spots along the river. It was a nice visit, and we’d choose this campground again when passing through.

We’ve been here three times, most recently on our way back from AK. The location by the Columbia River is great, but the RV park and amenities are just okay. The bathrooms seem fairly new after a recent renovation. Sites are mostly dirt with a bit of grass here and there, and the best ones are privately owned and unavailable to regular RVers. Our all-dirt site was beside two large dumpsters, so we heard them every 10 minutes.
