Cute, quaint place, and the room smelled clean. There’s a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, which were handy. But the room was a bit smaller than I’d like, and it only had a small shower, no bathtub. The main downside is how close the cabins are to the highway. You hear every vehicle go by, so it may not work well for light sleepers.

We booked five months ahead, and about a week before the trip I emailed to make sure the reservation had gone through. I got a quick reply, I think that same day, and the official confirmation came a day or two before we arrived. I knew the front desk was staffed only during the posted hours and understood the site rules. Some of the bad reviews had made me hesitate, and I still wonder how problems might be handled, but we had zero issues and I’d book again. The price and location were hard to beat. The room was clean, the beds and linens were comfortable, and the AC and heater worked well. The fridge and microwave were useful. The shower pressure was a little low and the floor creaked, but the bathroom was clean and nice, and a shower felt good after hiking. Check-in was quick, the woman at the desk was kind, and the ice machine by check-in worked well. It was a great location for Bryce Canyon NP, with a grocery store and coffee shop down the street. There was some road noise, but it didn’t bother us. We liked the picnic table and outdoor seating, and the landscape was beautiful. There’s livestock on the property, as the website says, so there was a farm smell when we arrived. That didn’t bother us either. I also enjoyed hearing the roosters in the morning and seeing them wander around. It was an enjoyable start to our trip, and the cabins were pleasing to look at.

It felt more like a cabin than a standard hotel, which we liked. A nice little place to sleep and unwind, with somewhere to get food down the road. The shower pressure could be better, but hey, at least there’s a shower.

A really clean, comfortable place with everything needed for a good night’s sleep, and it cost about half what the chains do. Everything worked. Just be aware the office light isn’t left on after 9, when the office closes. That was okay with us.

The fire pit beside our cabin was a favorite, and it was a nice place to relax after long hikes. The shower and tub were narrow, the carpet needs replacing, and the ice machine wasn’t running.
