Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Troy

The employees were all super nice, and breakfast, which started at 6 AM, was better than the usual hotel spread. We were passing through and wanted somewhere clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. This place looked brand new and everything was very clean. The rooms were comfortable, and the king bed had crisp, clean sheets that made for a good night's sleep. It felt well worth the price. If we pass this way again, we'd absolutely stay here.

Marie at the front desk made this stay. She helped from check-in onward, answered questions, and was especially reassuring when tornado warnings and touchdowns were happening nearby. With firsthand experience, she gave us updates about possible issues along the hotel's path and explained what to do and where to go inside if a tornado came through. She was warm, personable, and clearly cared about guests, even in a fast-paced, busy job. The property's exterior, lobby, desk, and room were also welcoming and clean. I stayed about three weeks ago after another local hotel didn't meet its brand expectations, and I'll use this location again if I'm in the area. Thank you, Marie!

There were a couple of stains on the hallway carpet, but for the price it was fine. The pool was pleasantly warm, breakfast was included and good, and everything was clean with no bugs. Check-in and leaving were easy. I'd stay again. Thanks, guys!

I was nearby for my niece's graduation party at Edwardsville HS. The hotel was easy to get to and leave, and it was close enough to where I needed to go. The price was very reasonable, so I'll consider staying here again next time I'm in the area.
