Holiday Inn Express Trussville

The room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had excellent pressure. Housekeeping knocked a little quickly, but it really wasn't a bother.

The alarm was still blaring as I left, and staff had kindly slipped my bill under the door without any explanation or regard for the inconvenience. Nobody was at the desk as I left the building. It was a horrible start to my morning and day, and my nerves are wrecked. Thanks, Trussville. It was already a rough stay, and the rooms could use upgrading. The fire alarm woke me with its loud noise, and guests were walking out with their luggage because they weren't sure what was happening. Nobody gave a real explanation until another guest demanded one. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Shout out to LEELA! She gave great customer service and helped my Mom and me get a double-bed room at the last minute. The rooms were super clean, and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend 😎🩵🛌

Our room's humidity was awful. Everything, including the beds, was wet. A night-light plug outlet flashed bright yellow all night, like a strobe light on amphetamines, and we couldn't turn it off. Part of the shower wall was broken off and they'd just used screws to hold it on. A miserable stay. Do yourself a favor and find a Hilton-owned property. They'd never!
