Comfort Inn & Suites Tualatin - Lake Oswego South

I was in town to visit a hospital and booked this place because it was nearby. Given Comfort Inn's past reputation for being unclean, I was pleasantly surprised. The waiting area and every part of the hotel I saw were clean, and my room had been nicely updated. Alejandra at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was nothing special, but it was included, clean, and well stocked. The woman looking after it was friendly and kept everything tidy and replenished. I'd recommend this Comfort Suits location. The only thing keeping it from five stars for me was that the toiletries weren't high-end spa products. The soaps and lotions were nice, just less fancy than at a five-star hotel.

We stayed for the third time on 1/26/26, and this visit was just as good as the others. Check-in and checkout were great, and Evelyn was wonderful at the continental breakfast. We got a different room this time, #121, and everything was perfect. The dog area is exceptional. On our second visit in 11/2025, we also appreciated Evelyn's kind, helpful service at breakfast. She had helped me in the laundry room during our previous stay. We had the same room, 123, on our first two visits, and its one drawback was a very bright light shining in. The large green pet area, with plenty of room to walk, is the best we've seen. We'll keep staying here on future trips.

The staff were friendly, and I hope my personal troubles and some annoying conversations while I was there didn't bother them. They did a fine job. The pool and hot tub were both working and great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and breakfast was fine. The waffles were tasty, and it was nice to have eggs, bacon, and orange juice.

We were on the quiet south side of the building, and the breakfast and service were excellent. My one complaint was the low toilet, which had no grab bars.
