The hotel and rooms were about average for a Comfort Suites. I booked because pets were specifically allowed, but after the stay I found a $150 charge on my card for having a dog. I would gladly have paid the $25 pet fee if I’d known I had to mention the dog specifically. They didn’t say anything about it until after we’d left, and it felt like they stole $150. A random woman in a van also told us not to park at the back of the hotel, though the front desk hadn’t mentioned that before our stay. Tucson has plenty of good hotels at good prices. This Comfort Inn isn’t one of them. If you care about your money and want to avoid surprise charges, stay away.

The heated pool, breakfast, and coffee were great, and otherwise it was an excellent place. But it seems better suited to couples or families with kids, since there were families on the second floor. I’m a solo traveler, and all the stomping from above was too much for me. I still gave it five stars.

The courtyard, deck, and patio overlooking the pool and got tub were lovely. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. The staff member I met was pleasant, and my room was very clean and in good condition.

I always love staying here. Just remember that booking specific details online doesn’t guarantee the hotel receives them, so call afterward to confirm your reservation. They kindly made the needed changes when we arrived. ❤️

Charming, clean place with a friendly front desk and super customer service. After my stay, I called to ask what kind of pillows they used, and manager Jay was very helpful with the details so I could buy some for home. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m at Sabino Canyon.
