Everything was clean, including the parking lot and outdoor areas, and the lot was well lit and felt secure. Even arriving around midnight, the desk attendant came out to greet us and help find a space in the fairly full lot. The accommodations were excellent overall. The soap smelled strange, though, so bring your own.

The room was a good size and clean, and the shower had a very retro look. The manager or owner was amazing, kept telling homeless people to leave, and even got us drinks when someone had broken the vending machine. I felt safe and happy here, and wish I could have stayed longer. Don’t judge it by the outside. I’d stay again.

For an overnight stay at a motor hotel, this had what I wanted: it was affordable, clean, and felt safe, with cute vintage details from another era. The front desk man was a good guy. The room also had a good TV with basic cable, a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot.

The beds were awful, and it took more than five minutes for the hot water to warm up. This was absolutely not worth $60. But when your reserved room at another hotel has apparently vanished from the system and you’ve been moving and awake for nearly 48 hours, you do what you have to do. If you can go somewhere else, go.

We were passing through town and just wanted a slice. The service was friendly, and the place was comfortable and clean. The pizza slice was huge and delicious, thanks! Next time I’ll try a cold beer.
