Ramada by Wyndham Tucson Airport

The shower and bathroom had no upgrades, and there was no hot water or water pressure after a long day working in the sun. The suite was junk, with a door frame that looked kicked in and a gap that let wind blow through all night. It even had a 13 inch TV. The window AC sounded quiet, at least. I grabbed my things and got out as soon as I could, so I didn’t take more pictures.

Would I stay again? Yes, because I know the area, the price is fair, and the employees seem nice, though some don’t speak English. The place is quiet at night, there’s a security guard, and I haven’t seen any bugs. The old breakfast they used to serve every morning has ended, sadly. The beds were clean and nice, and the TV, AC, sink, and toilet all work. Still, the room only gets a passing score. Some things are unplugged, including the TV, clock, and microwave. There are broken lamp shades, stained walls and bathroom door, and a broken shower knob that still works. The glass sliding door is broken and won’t close without locking automatically, so I accidentally locked my keys outside in the middle of the night. The fixtures, outlets, carpet, paint, counters, and more all need updating. They’re not ancient, but the place needs work.

The room was pretty good, with a comfortable bed and modern decor. The carpet had several stains, though, and the bathroom ceiling looked like it had leaked before. The lobby was nice, and the staff were very friendly.

The room was missing only a little soft jazz, candlelight, and a warm bath waiting, lol. Once I settled in, I had the bath later and slept so well that I woke up feeling refreshed. The desk clerk was kind and helpful, and the clean room smelled fresh and felt cozy and inviting. It was a really pleasant stay.
