Towneplace Suites by Marriott Tullahoma

The staff made a big impression on us. Everyone we spoke with was welcoming, kind, and helpful. Manager Christine deserves a special mention: she went out of her way to help with an issue during our stay that was beyond her control, and handled it with care, professionalism, and real concern for us. The overnight staff member was attentive and very kind as well, though we didn't get her name. This newly built hotel felt clean, new, and thoughtfully designed, and the gym was especially good and well equipped. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

I stay here all the time, and it's the best hotel in Tullahoma. There's plenty of parking, the location is great, and the gym is really well equipped for a hotel. Breakfast is always hot and good, the rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the staff are fantastic. The manager is exceptional. Highly recommend.

It's a new hotel, and the staff are new too. Christine first told my husband he could only get the Marriott member rate by booking online. He started booking on his phone right in front of her. Once I arrived with our kids and all our bags, and the line behind us started growing, she was able to offer that rate through her computer instead. I'm thankful she agreed to help. She was kind and professional, and maybe it was the policy, but I'm glad she could assist. Everything was clean, nicely decorated, and functional. Breakfast was okay. The waffle maker wasn't plugged in, and there was no waffle mix, which is usually a favorite for our kids, so they had cereal and yogurt instead. There was also oatmeal, eggs, sausage, frittata, and fresh fruit. The hotel seemed very quiet. Maybe there weren't many customers because it's so new, but I'm not complaining.

The staff were friendly and helpful as they worked through their new systems and building. The hotel itself is brand new, and the spaces were clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night while passing through town, but I'd choose this hotel for a longer visit. I was impressed by the kitchenette: a good-sized fridge and freezer, two-burner stove, microwave, small dishwasher, and a range of cooking utensils and dishes in the unit. You could borrow more things from the front desk to make cooking and cleaning in the unit feel like being at home.
