Catoosa Inn and Suites repeatedly charged me a nonrefundable pet deposit for my service animal, on more than five occasions. I explained that the animal is a service animal, not a pet, and even provided a formal statement from my attorney about ADA compliance, although the ADA does not require documentation. Management still refused to return the deposits and eventually refused to serve me because I had a service animal. I believe this was discriminatory and unlawful, whether due to a serious lack of ADA training or disregard for disability law. Service animals are not pets, hotels cannot charge pet fees or deposits for them, and lodging cannot be refused because a guest has one. I’m asking for the charges to be reimbursed. If this isn’t resolved promptly, I intend to pursue legal remedies and file formal complaints with the appropriate authorities. Anyone who depends on ADA protections should think carefully before booking here, as I encountered improper charges, resistance, and refusal of service. I’m posting this to warn other travelers and give the hotel a chance to address a serious legal and ethical failure.

We lost our money after trying for two days to move our paid, nonrefundable reservation by one day. The hotel referred us to Priceline, while Priceline said a hotel manager had to approve it. I called the hotel and got through, but when I tried to reach the manager I was told to call back in an hour, then that there was no manager on weekends. They also wouldn’t tell me who I was speaking with. I made seven calls back and forth to Priceline, and it went nowhere. We were detained and asked whether we could shift the reservation to the next day, but it wasn’t allowed. The whole thing was a mess and caused a lot of stress. I’d avoid using Priceline or staying at Catoosa Inn. Bad decision and bad business all around. I won’t use either again.

The beds feel like sleeping on air, and the rooms are quiet and very clean. There’s a big bathroom, a recliner, and continental breakfast too. Hard Rock is only about 400 yards away. I’m already thinking of coming back from now on. Five stars.

Truck and trailer parking! I was surprised when I opened the door, the room was really nice and clean. The outside looked clean too, and the staff were polite and helpful. I give this hotel 8 stars! 🤩

The woman at the desk said I’d need to pay twice the usual deposit. When I agreed, she immediately said she didn’t want to rent to me and had no room available. I did nothing to deserve that rude, obviously biased treatment. I’m offended that a foreign immigrant working in hospitality would treat a native-born citizen this way. I won’t support this place anymore.
