We had a room for four people but got only one pillow and one towel, and no blankets at all. One bed had bedbugs, the sheet underneath was dirty, and there were roaches in the bathroom. The fridge was broken, the room smelled horrible, there was no hot water, the tub was nasty, and the sink didn’t work. We even had to pay $1 for toilet paper, and the ice bucket they gave us was disgusting. The front desk person was an absolute jerk, too. Sure, it’s a great price, but it’s absolutely not worth this experience. I’d rather sleep outside in the cold than ever stay here again.

Check-in was smooth, and the place felt welcoming. The location made it easy to get to restaurants and attractions, too. My room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. Staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to take care of anything. I had an excellent stay, would definitely come back, and highly recommend it if you want a relaxing, hassle-free visit.

The bathroom was disgusting, the hallways smelled horrible, and the room had roaches. There were no pillows or blankets, and the sheets had burn marks and holes. The TV couldn’t be used because its HDMI wire had been ripped out, leaving exposed wires. There were propane racial slurs on the headboard. The window to the outside was broken and taped together. At 6 AM, someone banged loudly on my door, claimed to be hotel staff, and said the room showed no one in it. I refused to open it. Getting checked in was a mess from the start: we waited 30 minutes in the lobby and found out the front desk staff had gone to the bank. We returned later and waited another 30 minutes while, according to the sign, staff were helping a guest. I can provide pictures and videos if I’m able.

They demanded a deposit that wasn’t mentioned when we booked through Experian, and wouldn’t activate the keys until it was paid. Luckily, I was able to borrow the money from the buddy I was visiting. The room had no blankets, towels, or washcloths at first. I managed to get the towels and washcloths, but they were completely out of blankets. We killed 17 roaches while we were there. There were broken, open receptacles, ripped wallpaper in several places, dirt built up in nasty areas, a bathroom door coming off its hinge, and a microwave that didn’t work. Absolutely horrible. I wish I could give it less than zero.

That full kitchen made my first three-day stay at Tulsa Square Hotel Central especially comfortable. It had a full-size fridge and a built-in glass stovetop that was great to use and very clean. I also really enjoyed the roomy balcony. The price was reasonable, and the room felt like a solid four-star stay. I’d definitely recommend it for comfort at a fair price. Five stars from me.
