For a three-star hotel, this is a good option in a great downtown spot. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the BOK center, with restaurants and bars all around. The historic building means the rooms are a bit small, but they're updated pretty well, have the basics, and were extremely clean and tidy. Mine had a coffee machine and mini fridge. One thing to keep in mind if traveling alone or with kids: the lobby isn't on the ground floor, and people who aren't hotel guests can come and go on the first floor. While I was waiting for a doordash order, an unhoused person came inside and started smoking. Staff promptly and kindly escorted him out, even though he was erratic. The ground floor is public access, so I don't blame the hotel; they handled it as best they could.

We felt safe and really enjoyed the hotel and its location. The rooms were great, with super comfortable bedding. We parked in the Philtower parking garage behind the hotel instead of using valet and were happy with that choice. Dinner at the Vault was about a six-minute walk, and the Tulsa Performing arts center was around three minutes away. In the morning we walked about nine minutes to the Dily Diner for a great breakfast. We'll come back and probably ask for that super sweet corner room on the sixth floor.

Our room was cold and drafty, had no trash bags, and the shower water was only lukewarm, not hot. We checked in on the evening of 01/16/2026, and no one told us we had to swipe the key to activate the elevator. We had to ride to another floor before a guest explained it. This isn't the Marriott standard. We've never had such subpar customer service. :-(

The historic building adds some interest, though the bottom floor was empty and check-in was on the second level. We've stayed here a couple of times, and both visits the rooms were clean and comfortable, if a little small. The staff were accommodating, too. All in all, an interesting building.

The big rooms had comfortable beds and pillows, and checkout wasn't until noon. Getting to the BOK Center on foot was easy, and check-in went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott.
