Days Inn Southern Hills/ORU

The desk clerk didn't seem surprised when I described what we'd found. She didn't apologize or ask questions, just looked at us like this happened 500 times a day. We asked for the deposits back on three rooms, $50 per room, but I booked through a third party, and the hotel denied the refund claim. Legal action will most likely be necessary, and I plan to contact corporate, send pictures to the booking company, and see where this goes. I don't care if I have to get a news station to cover these deplorable conditions. Please don't make the same mistake. Your respiratory system and nostrils will thank you. I can't wait to contact corporate and start emailing those pictures. My room was filthy, with a horrible smell throughout the hotel. It looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since the 60s. Flood damage left the floor sticky and squishy, filth was caked on everything, and the baseboards and furniture were waterlogged and warped. The chair had countless disgusting stains, and the blankets had huge burn holes. There was more: someone traveling with me opened another room and found an unmade, disheveled bed with clothes on it and lit matches scattered across the bathroom floor. There was trash in the bin and the most rancid smell imaginable. The third room was the cleanest, but even being in it made you feel like you needed a tetanus shot. The hallway had broken air conditioners and busted, filthy windows you couldn't see through into the courtyard. We could hear animals in the ceiling. We turned around immediately and asked the desk for the deposits back. This place is absolutely disgusting and repulsive, the dirtiest hotel I've ever been in. Please never stay here if you care about your health and safety.
