The room was spacious, clean, and great for the price, less than I’d paid at earlier stops on my trip. The only thing that bothered me was being told at the desk that they don’t take cash. I’d given a credit card to keep on file in case anything was damaged, so I didn’t get why they wouldn’t accept my $100 bill. Whatever, I paid and moved on. Otherwise, this place is great.

I’m usually an IHG person almost all the time, but prices had gotten out of sight because of a special event in town, so I tried the Glo and was pleasantly surprised. The Best Western Glo was clean and well maintained, with a decent-sized room, a nice bed, and a good-sized shower. The bedside lamps hang a bit low, which is odd but not a big deal. The fitness room was one of the nicer hotel gyms I’ve used, with good equipment and clearly well cared for, so it was easy to get exercise on the road. The price was great, and it’s a nice place to rest. I hope they keep it up. I’ll look for more Glo hotels when traveling and would recommend the BW Glo in Catoosa, OK.

After being given a room, I found it was very dirty: the floors hadn’t been swept or mopped, and the toilet seat looked used and not cleaned between guests. I asked for another room, but there was hair in the shower and on the toilet seat there too. The attendant acted as if it just needed wiping down. The walls were nasty in both rooms, and after that I assumed the same of all the rooms. This place and I clearly have different standards for clean.

The front desk staff were very nice, and the room smelled clean. The A/C worked well and the bed was comfortable, though the pillows were lumpy. The bathtub wasn’t clean, with grime on the walls and floor and hair left by the previous guest. I could hear everything from upstairs, including talking, things being moved, and doors shutting. They were active until 2 a.m., so I didn’t sleep well. Highway traffic came through too, and a smoke detector flashed a bright white light constantly. Breakfast was pretty good except for the gross, hard sausage.

We’re on a month-long road trip across the country, and this was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. It’s beautiful, modern, and clean, with a comfortable clean bed and soft pillows. Breakfast was great too. We stopped for the night and were very pleased. I’d stay again if I’m in the area and definitely recommend it.
