Residence Inn by Marriott Tulsa South

The staff were really friendly, and the room was clean, though it needed a little maintenance. The shower door needed adjusting to stop a leak, and the toilet paper holder was nearly falling off the wall. At breakfast around 8am, the sausage, biscuits, forks, and spoons had run out. It took more than 15 minutes for more food to come out. These were minor issues, and I'd stay again.

On our last day there were no towels, and nobody could say when the laundry would be done. We needed to shower before leaving, but couldn't. During our stay, hotel staff mistakenly gave another guest keys to our occupied room. We were lying in bed when the guest, checked in and directed there by staff, opened the door and walked in. We were there and managed to resolve it quickly with the guest, but it raises a serious safety and security concern. I can't imagine what might have happened if we'd been away with our belongings inside. That kind of mistake is unacceptable and deeply concerning.

The beds are really comfortable, and the studio rooms are huge. I also liked the warm indoor pool. Breakfast was pretty limited, with a lot of premade food. The blinds let in too much light, and the outdoor lights made the rooms bright even with everything switched off. The AC wouldn’t go below 69 degrees.

We had to call the desk whenever we wanted to use the amenities because our key cards wouldn’t open those doors. The TVs didn’t work in either room: the manager was polite and offered to move us, but the second room had the same problem. Probably one of the worst Marriott brand hotels I’ve stayed at. I won’t return to this location.
