The front desk deserves five stars for service. After we couldn't switch rooms, I agreed to try a box fan to cover some of the noise. It never arrived, but after a few frustrating, Karen-ish calls, a kind staff member brought up the tower fan from the front desk. It cut maybe half the noise, and my exhausted kid and I could finally sleep. Service from the staff was just fine throughout, and they really were doing the best they could. The hotel itself is the problem. Half the rooms face a busy street, and the noise is unbearable. You won't sleep even with earplugs: traffic, crosswalk beeping around the clock because the signals are malfunctioning, loud stereos at all hours, and men revving engines to show they're men. You can even hear people talking outside from the third floor interior. Marriott has done nothing to reduce it, no soundproofing in the outer walls, no special window treatments, nothing between guests and construction, broken signals, engines, stereos, and people enjoying themselves outside. You'd be better off in your car or under a bridge. Honestly, that's where we may end up. We only want a quiet room after 10. Marriott has been disappointing lately, like the airlines, where expectations have to drop to nothing. This isn't the staff's fault. Still, the room is hell on earth, and Marriott clearly knows it's a problem and doesn't care. We asked for a quiet room, but didn't get one. That can be understandable on a busy weekend, and the request may not be possible. But unless the front desk can somehow guarantee a quiet room, stay away. Don't hold your breath with Marriott. Book somewhere else.

Our group of six found this Residence Inn clean and well maintained, with spacious rooms and a good free breakfast that made it a great buy for the price. It's also well located: we walked to most things, including good nearby restaurants. I'd recommend it for families, and this will be our hotel next time we're in Tulsa. The staff deserve credit for the place.

I was traveling with a large group, and the staff were wonderful, helpful, and very accommodating. Rosa kept the generous breakfast stocked the whole time. The rooms are huge, with a great kitchen and bar area. I love natural light, so I asked for a street-facing room, which has two windows. Highly recommended!

While we were packing, we realized an insulated bag for medication that needed refrigeration was missing. Housekeeping had cleaned the room while my husband was out, though we hadn't asked for service. When I told the front desk, the receptionist first asked why we hadn't reached out sooner. We had only noticed it when we needed the bag. Since we had a late checkout at 2 p.m., I said it needed to be replaced by then, and they promptly got us a replacement. I've stayed here loyally for seven years, but this last visit was my last. The hotel has also been removed from my company's recommended list. The carpet by the bathroom smelled damp and musty, and the bathrooms stayed moist, leaving the windows foggy and wet and leading to mildew and mold. There were no bathroom fans. The toilet paper holder was broken despite repeated requests to fix it, and a broken piece in the entryway looked bad. A broken screen outside our window clanked against it every night in the Oklahoma wind. We had to take hotel staff outside to show them. The lobby had only one trash can, with none on the floors near elevators or by the entrances and exits. Guests often left bags of trash around, though staff were quick to pick them up.

The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were large and clean. Breakfast was a good hot one, included every morning at 6am. You can walk to Bok Center and a few restaurants, though other stores aren't within walking distance. The bartender, unfortunately, wasn't very attentive or talkative.
