Getting to the beach and bus is easy from this perfect location, and there are plenty of shops and food places nearby, including a shopping store inside the hotel. But the room cleanliness was poor: under the bed was really dusty, ants were on the bed and headboards, and the bathroom was slimy and moldy. There’s no bidet, and the pool doesn’t look like the photo. Food selection was okay, though there were no powdered creamer or other lactose-free options for me. It’s too bad DFS across the street is closing this March.

For the price, it’s a good deal, with the beach and most of Tumon within walking distance. The bed was very lumpy, and the shower was partly broken: water sprayed out the side, and the knobs were hard to turn either on or all the way off. There were only two towels, which seemed like too few for a hotel by the beach, but we were able to ask for more.

I keep coming back to Guam Plaza Resort whenever I stay downtown. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and room prices are reasonable. Room service sometimes forgets a thing or two, but it’s never been a deal breaker or bothered me enough to mention it. They also helped me out after a horrid flight delay and some after-hours issues. I recommend and endorse this place 100 percent!

I stayed eight nights, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is in a great location. I gave the room four stars because the lighting was much too dim, especially at night. The bathroom light was so dark I couldn’t use the mirror to get ready.

Great rooms, food, service, and location. I had a great time here. The only problem was the AC, which didn’t work very well. Friends staying in other rooms said theirs was the same.
