For an inexpensive stay, this had everything we needed. Our king room was just right for two, with a couch and coffee table, plus a good TV, microwave, and mini fridge. There were plenty of towels, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The room was quiet, too. We'd definitely come back.

The location is great, but after staying here for more than three weeks, I wouldn't return. I was paying around $600 to $650 a week, plus $30 a day for my bunny, and felt I deserved much better treatment. I'm a blue-collar retail worker and usually leave places very clean. I even paid for an extra day after moving so I could get all my belongings out and clean. Still, I got complaints afterward. They said not to book through a third party because they'd match the price, and I didn't argue then, but I later found out Red Roof on McCullough Blvd was $200 cheaper and charged nothing for one pet. I was often questioned about my room and cleanliness because I had a bunny, even though beer bottles were scattered outside. If there was a cigarette butt, I got blamed, although I don't smoke because of asthma. I vacuumed myself for privacy as a woman, but they kept bothering me. Towels were another worry: they knocked every day, and once a hand towel was missing, I was threatened with a charge. I was also blamed for the phone not working, though its line was already tethered. The toilet handle was hard to use and eventually broke. Staff cleaned the room and must have known, but never told me. I replaced it because I realized they might charge me. When I lost the remote in the blankets and explained that it weighed less than a pack of gum, the manager still seemed intent on charging me $100. Universal remotes cost no more than $20 at most, from what I've seen. I spent $30 out of pocket replacing things just to avoid the possibility of a much larger bill. The biggest issue was the different treatment of guests. I wanted privacy and safety as a woman traveling with my bunny. My boyfriend came by once and my brother visited another time. Both were hassled, even though they came on separate occasions and my brother knew someone else staying there. Meanwhile, people next door and in much of the ground floor seemed to be staying for work. They played music and were loud, with around ten people gathered outside my door. I wouldn't have cared so much if I hadn't been hassled over my one or two visitors. On many nights, I had to listen to seven to thirteen or more men drinking, and felt uncomfortable even going to the machine for soda or ice. I'm used to being around men, but this was ridiculous. I was told there were rules and to keep quiet, though I wasn't making noise. I never hung around outside, just came and went. It felt like staff blamed me because they were wary of the larger group next door and on my floor. I understand it's family owned and they have to watch costs, and I know rooms can get trashed. I've worked in many places and try to fix what I might be blamed for. But the way I was treated made me feel like a burden. If they'd been more personable, like staff at other motels and hotels I've stayed in, I would have raised the room issues with them. If you do stay, keep it brief and ask for a room away from the construction workers they have a contract with. I'm friends with construction workers and have no issue with them generally, just the people here who seemed to do whatever they wanted while others got blamed.

The front desk staff were great, and check-in went smoothly. The young man at the desk made sure everything from arrival through checkout went really well. Keep up the good work.

We booked through Expedia and won't use this place again. The people were extremely rude, and the pet policy didn't feel pet friendly at all: $30 per pet, only one pet allowed, and pets can't be on the bed. They also charged a $50 deposit.

We paid for and booked through Super.com, but on arrival the motel asked for another $20 for our pet, although the website only said pets were welcome. They also demanded $55 cash as a room deposit, despite already having my ID and debit card from the booking. At checkout, the man claimed one towel was stained and kept $20. We were stuck there disputing it until 1:30 while he washed the towels. None of their towels were stained. My husband had left his mechanic rag in the room after checking the oil, and that was what had been mistaken for a stain.
