Holiday Inn & Suites Tupelo North By IHG

Pat welcomed us at the front desk yesterday, helped us out, and showed us where the meeting room was. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a large group at breakfast this morning, but the cooks and breakfast staff handled it well. Brandi and Renee were friendly, and we loved the delicious omelettes. Great experience!

Even with the hotel full and staff incredibly busy during the recent ice storm, everyone worked hard to help and keep our stay comfortable. Lacretia especially went above and beyond. She was friendly and so helpful, making a difficult time easier to manage. I didn't catch the names of the other employees we met, but their hospitality and sense of humor helped me forget why we were there. It was such a positive stay, and I'd gladly come back. Thank you!

There was no sense of urgency at this hotel, and check-in was a problem. There were no trash bags in the bin, the soap dispensers were full on the sink and in the shower, and the pull-out bed sheets on the couch weren't clean. The room wasn't up to standard, and a tacky sign gave no explanation, so you couldn't tell whether one side or both were out. I checked out Saturday. We were in town for a family funeral, and this was simply embarrassing. I was very disappointed and won't return.

The double Queen room was the smallest I've stayed in, but the hotel was nice, the lobby relaxing, and the rest of the stay was great. I spent two separate nights here lately and Pat was on duty at the desk both times. He's friendly, helpful, and professional, and went out of his way several times to make our stays great. He's one of the most outstanding receptionists I can remember and deserves recognition.
