The property was clean, the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows, and the location was great. The rooms looked recently renovated and were nice, but at those prices I expected more, and I wouldn’t call them luxury. Dining nearby was disappointing. Even though we’d heard warnings, we went to the hotel saloon and grill for happy hour. The bartender talked us into ordering from that menu, but brought full sized regular menu portions that were badly burnt. They were basically pitch black. When I pointed it out, she said they sometimes look that way and told us to try them and let her know. We confirmed they were burned, but we were exhausted and didn’t want a confrontation. Then she charged us the full regular menu price, which shocked me. There’s complimentary coffee, though. I’d skip the restaurants and head into the park. We also had a pretty decent meal at “we cook pizza and pasta“. Don’t be put off by the name. For fresh, hot food and the money, that’s your best bet around here, in my opinion.

Lucy was a great server, really friendly, and had good suggestions for food and drinks. We enjoyed the Saloon, and the Steakhouse food was very good. The Grand Hotel was beautiful and recently renovated, with clean, comfortable rooms. It’s only minutes from Grand Canyon National Park. The front desk staff were friendly too and suggested places to visit and restaurants.

The room had hair in the tub, a dark red mark on the carpet by the bed, a toilet that wouldn’t flush, and a dirty tile floor when we arrived. We also hadn’t realized renovations were going on, so construction woke us early. Customer service was good, though, and they gave us a full refund before we moved to another hotel across the street. Our three night stay at The Grand wasn’t what we’d expected.

We had a spotless room and comfortable beds, with a nice bathroom and everything we wanted, including an air fryer, fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The lobby was beautiful and well decorated, the toiletries were high quality, and it was nice to have liquid soap, real glasses, and ceramic mugs. Housekeeping came daily, and the staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast isn’t included, but the steakhouse downstairs has a reasonably priced buffet with plenty of healthy choices. We stayed three nights and found it excellent value. I strongly recommend Grand Hotel if you’re planning a visit to Grand Canyon National Park.

We had a great stay. Lucy was an excellent server, and we enjoyed eating in both the saloon and restaurant. The staff were very helpful. The hotel has just been renovated and is close to The Grand Canyon National Park and other amenities.
