Red Feather Lodge

For a two-star hotel, this was the best one I’ve stayed at. Sonny at the front desk was especially helpful with our questions, and the staff were great. The hot cocoa was good quality, and I recommend mixing it with the coffee. We stayed in the hotel side. It was clean, with nice Dove products in the bathroom, and the bed and pillows were good overall. The showerhead sprayed a little oddly, but it did the job.

The breakfast buffet was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. Our room was very large, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I also loved the coffee machine. Red Feather Lodge was great value for this area and made an easy, stress-free base for visiting the Grand Canyon, just minutes away. It’s listed as a two-star place, but honestly it felt like much more. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

For 20 years, we’ve kept coming back, and the service has been consistent every time. When I called ahead to check our reservation, I got a friendly, helpful person at the desk, not a call center. You can call any time, day or night, and get the same kind of welcome. The place is clean and quiet, with no smoking, no pets, and no strange smells. It’s relaxing, the price is right, and the park entrance is only a few minutes away. They have what you need, plus great coffee around the clock. We won’t stay anywhere else.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I kept seeing someone tending the coffee station and another person looking after the pool. The rooms and grounds were spotless, and we loved the pool and hot tub. It’s close to the Grand Canyon, with several restaurants an easy walk away, and the price is very reasonable. I’d choose Red Feather Lodge first if I come back to the area.
