From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and had such lovely attitudes. They assured me that maintenance and housekeeping were available around the clock, and my room felt very cozy. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, but can’t remember another place where the experience started off this positively. Thank you!

The bed was fairly comfortable, and the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Still, we’re likely to find somewhere else when we return from Texas. The room smelled musty, the carpet in the room and halls looked and felt dirty, and the hotel is older with small rooms. In our accessible room there was barely enough space to maneuver my wheelchair. The bathroom had a tub instead of an accessible shower, and although there was a fold-down bench, the sink and counter layout made it impossible for a wheelchair user to reach it. My husband also struggled with the shower because the water pressure was extremely low.

The rooms were quiet, the parking lot was well lit, and the lobby, breakfast room, and guest room were clean. Staff were friendly, and they had complimentary breakfast. I stayed one night on the way to New Orleans.

A retaining wall behind the hotel blocked street noise and outside lights. I got the darkest, quietest room I’ve ever stayed in, and had an incredibly peaceful night’s sleep.
