Four Seasons Motor Inn

I paid 200 dollars and checked in at 10 pm, when it was 40F outside. They called at 9 pm to make sure I was coming. But when I got into the room, it was freezing, around 50F. I turned on the thermostat and waited an hour for the room to warm up, but at 11 pm it was still cold. Since I confirmed I’d arrive in 20 minutes, they should have turned on the heat ahead of time. I was very disappointed and frustrated with the service.

The price was right and the employees were extremely nice. It’s a good motel, though it could use some updating, and several outlets didn’t work. There’s a dog at the neighbors’ place across the street that never stops barking.

The owners were right there and very friendly and helpful. Each morning they put out hot coffee early, which I enjoyed along with the beautiful view. Our room was very clean, and it was a nice place to stay, conveniently close to local hiking trails.

The rooms are simple and very clean, and the place has a really nice atmosphere. The other guests were kind and friendly, and we liked having outdoor chairs for each room. Our hosts went above and beyond, getting up an hour early so we’d have coffee and could use the lobby microwave before leaving early.
