Garden Grove Bed and Breakfast

We came to Harbor Country for a weekend after Thanksgiving, and even a winter storm couldn’t spoil our relaxing stay at The Garden Grove Inn. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with its own entrance, and it was gorgeous and pet friendly, which was great since our little dog comes everywhere with us. I loved the warm fireplace, jetted tub, and comfy bed. Hilary was a wonderful host, with thoughtful touches like fresh cookies and a lovely breakfast delivered to our door each morning. I’m sure we’ll be back!

The Rose room was spacious and inviting, and the bed was comfortable. We especially appreciated Hillary’s kindness and her suggestions for parks and restaurants. She also made delicious vegan breakfasts and was very accommodating. Garden Grove’s inn and gardens were lovely, and we even got greeted by Grayson, the cat. We enjoyed exploring Union Pier, and New Buffalo is close by. We had a lovely stay in late September.

We hadn’t planned to stay overnight, but the lovely late-September weather made us want to turn our Harbor Country day trip into a weekend. We were glad Garden Grove had a room available. It was charmingly decorated, updated, and fairly spacious. The inn sits on a lovely wooded lot near the lake and just a few minutes from New Buffalo. Breakfast was delicious, too. It was a win-win-win without compromise!

We stayed in the Garden Retreat with our two dogs and had such a relaxing time. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the host was welcoming and available if we had questions or concerns. The fireplace kept us cozy, and the hot tub was just right for my sore muscles. Can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer.
