Nite Inn - Walking Distance to Universal Studios Hollywood

For a visit to Universal, Nite Inn is decent and reasonably priced. You can walk to a nearby shuttle or continue on foot all the way to Universal. They provide water and a few other refreshments, and the morning pastries were good. The queen room wasn't great, and noise came through the walls. Parking was okay but quite limited. The floor is all tile, which some people may like and others may not. There can also apparently be a $200 extra charge for small issues like blood or makeup on pillows. At a similar price and distance from Universal, you may find better options nearby. If money's tight, I wouldn't specifically recommend or discourage staying here.

Our connecting room worked perfectly for my family of six. It had three queen beds and a pullout sofa. The staff were all kind and helpful, and the location is ideal for Universal Studios. Parking was a little tight, but manageable. Highly recommend.

Nite Inn is a basic two-star place: private bathroom, TV, working Wi-Fi, and basic housekeeping. The reception setup is unusual, and I can't confirm whether the desk is staffed around the clock, since the door is only unlocked for limited hours. For the morning refreshments, think pastries and coffee. The guest coffee machine is fancy and makes good coffee. The room wasn't soundproof, though. We clearly heard sirens and highway honking, plus the neighbors upstairs moving their bed late at night. It sounded like they were running marathons while dragging a wooden table and chair across the floor. I'd recommend it for people who just need a clean place to shower and sleep while they're out most of the day. If you're used to three-star comfort or better, keep your expectations realistic. And before the business comments on this, my name isn't the same as the one on my booking, lol.

This was my second stay at Nite Inn. It's straightforward and basic, but the location is excellent: a short walk gets you to a shuttle up to Universal Studios Hollywood. The staff are always friendly. The parking lot is small, and they recommend compact cars or smaller, but they're clear about that before you book. Good stay overall, and I'd come back on another Universal Studios visit.
