The mattresses were comfortable, but that was about the only decent part. Our room smelled strongly of smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking, and it kept at least one of us awake most of the night. There were crumbs on the desk, bits of debris on the floor, used towels, a dirty tub, and stained sheets and pillows. We even found dry mystery marks on the bathroom door that might have been blood, tobacco spit, or something else bodily. We asked for clean linens and towels, but nobody came to look at the room. They just passed a pile of them to us at the door and left, so we made the beds ourselves. There were no other rooms available, and we'd already been charged earlier that day. No refund or other help was offered. Check-in staff were pleasant, but at checkout the manager just shouted our room number to staff eating breakfast without asking how things had gone. The room gave us the impression it had been rented by the hour before we arrived. I've seen cleaner highway rest stops, and the public bathrooms at the park in Saratoga would've been a better place to stay. We won't use Econo-Lodge again. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

There was black mold in the bathroom, and the whole place smelled awful. Towels, the curtain, and shower curtain were dirty, and there was pee in the gaps at the back of the toilet. It was so humid that sleeping was hard even with the air conditioner running. There was tape on the walls and on the air conditioner. I can't believe anyone's positive review after how bad this stay was.

A swarm of tiny gnats or fruit flies kept bothering me all night, and the room had a cigarette and mold smell. There was hair in both the sink and tub, plus a used disposable razor left on the sink, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest. Someone in the room above let their kids run and jump around past midnight. The front desk attendant made no effort to sort it out. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at. Stay away!

I came from out of state for a dear friend's funeral and only needed a basic, clean room for two days, not a five-star stay. Instead, there wasn't even a clock in the room, and there were no breakfast items or even coffee in the lobby. The coffee pot in the room was dirty and looked like it hadn't been washed in a while. The towels were off-white and soaked through easily, and flying insects had gotten throughout the room, especially the bathroom. I've slept outside around wild animals, snakes, and all kinds of bugs, and I slept better there. Do not stay here. This shouldn't be a CHOICE Group Hotel.

The water stayed rusty brown no matter how long I let it run, and there were roaches. The smell hit as soon as we walked in. Cigarette burns marked the blankets and sheets, and there was other people's hair all over the place. When I complained, the staff gave me attitude. My children and I couldn't stand another day, so we left our reservation right away. The man at the front desk even tried to charge me for an extra towel and washcloth, though they were supposed to be complimentary. I took pictures and videos of everything. I wouldn't give this place a star.
