It's a great hotel for a short getaway of a couple of days, and I've stayed here several times. On our most recent visit, my boyfriend and I were outside because he was smoking and we didn't have a smoking room. I sat on the steps while he used a chair. The owner called the cops without first talking to us or saying we shouldn't sit there. We only found out when they arrived. We asked if everything was okay, and the owner asked if we had a room, told us to go inside, then told the cops everything was fine. Better communication would've helped. They could have simply asked us to move, and I would've sat by the door. Calling the cops only made sense if we refused to listen.

The desk clerk was very nice, the only decent thing about the place. We were so disappointed that we cut our two-day stay short and left after one. The ad calling it newly renovated is a bald-faced lie. Our non-smoking room stank of cigarette and pot smoke. The floor hadn't been swept, the bathroom was nasty, cigarette holes were burned into the bedspread, and the countertops hadn't been cleaned. The vanity looked like it was made from scrap wood.

We had the efficiency, and I was glad there was a full-size stove. The oven worked, but the stovetop was iffy. Management should inspect the rooms and appliances regularly to make sure they're working. The guests above and beside us argued constantly, especially at night, and the thin walls made it difficult and unpleasant. When we called at 3 a.m. about rude, obnoxious guests, management brushed us off. We were very disappointed with our stay.

This is Michelle, using my future son-in-law's phone. We started out in room 210, and I wanted to tell you this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The beds are so comfortable, the manager is amazing, and housekeeping is amazing too. I love the service, the people, and our room. The area is bad, but the hotel itself is amazing. Thanks, Brian and everybody. We love you guys!

They've updated the place, and having food spots right beside this motel is convenient. I enjoyed my visit.
