Rodeway Inn

Only stayed a few hours, but saw baby roaches on my food and on the wall. It's a roach motel, and seeing the little ones makes it seem like they're infested. I asked for a refund and the woman gave it without a problem, though she charged me for the few hours I was there. She said the credit refund would take 5-6 days and debit would take 10-15 days. Avoid this place unless you like pests.

The police came, and I eventually got my money back. During our weekend stay, the toilet overflowed on the first day, and a man from the front desk came to fix it. It overflowed again the next day. This time a woman at the desk said she wasn't maintenance and that I had to plunge it myself. She hung up, came to my door with a plunger, and told me to handle it. I said I'd paid and they should take care of it, but she walked away. The manager then called my room, said she agreed with her employee that neither of them would help, and hung up too. At the front desk, I asked for my money back and said I'd never seen a hotel behave like this. She refused, told me to get my stuff out and leave if I didn't like it, called me "b****es" several times, and threatened to spit on me. I said to call the police because I wasn't leaving without my money if they wouldn't fix the problem. She screamed at me to get the f*** out of the lobby or she'd do something to me, and kept insulting me. The worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I don't recommend it.

The night clerk was rude, and the beds were uncomfortable. Their continental breakfast was just small donuts and weak coffee. I never got to use the pool because they chose that weekend to clean it.

The room was a good deal and seemed clean. Soft sheets and working air conditioning, too. The shower drained a little slowly, but otherwise everything was fine.
